Many business owners believe that owning an ice machine is too expensive and too complicated to maintain. Nothing could be further from the truth. The basic mechanics of these machines is very simple and straight forward. All that is involved is water placed into trays which are then molded into frozen cubes and dispensed as needed. The entire process is completely automated, requiring no expertise or hands on involvement. The same basic operating principle applies to all the machines. The size and amount of cubes that can be produced hourly are the major differences. Some of the most popular brands include: Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, Scotsman, Ice-O-Matic, Follett and Kloppenberg. Commercial Grade Machines come in a variety of styles. You can purchase a countertop unit, a built-in unit or a freestanding one. A business such as a bar would benefit from a countertop unit as it is very accessible for drink preparation. Small restaurants would benefit from the built-in units as they take up very little space. Larger Restaurants should purchase a freestanding Machine which will give them enough capacity to meet the needs of a larger group of customers.

Following our theme in the first week of simple breads, here is a simple wheat bread.
3/4 cup of water
1 Egg
2 cups of bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
3 tablespoons of butter or butter substitute
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon of yeast
Directions:
It was Hero (or Heron) of Alexandria, an ancient Greek mathematician, who is credited with inventing the world’s first drinks vending machine nearly 2000 years ago. Around the time of 50 AD, he came up with the idea of dispensing a measure of Holy water when a coin was placed in a slot on a machine. The idea was simple - the coin dropped on to a pan on a lever and the weight of the coin moved the lever which opened a crude valve and allowed the Holy water to flow, then as the lever continued to move, the coin fell off, the lever moved back and the water flow was shut off again - simple!
There’s no getting away from it. As with everything else in this world the price of off-the-shelf bread is going up and up almost on a daily basis. With this in mind, I really don’t understand why more people don’t opt to bake their own home cooked bread. It’s cheaper, it tastes better, and it’s really fun to do! You can create all kinds of exciting recipes with the help of a bread maker. From standard white and brown loaves, to specialty breads like sun-dried tomato or garlic. Why not try adding fruit and nuts to your bread? furthermore, bread makers allow you to bake specialty breads like gluten or wheat free.
DVD vending machines are just one of the many types of unusual vending machines making their way over from Japan. In Japan, many products are available from vending machines. You can even go to a fully-automated grocery stores in Japan (a basket travels up and down the selection walls, gathering the selected items, even putting heavier objects on the bottom so as not to crush your bread!) As America warms to the idea of unusual items in vending machines, DVD vending machines are the next big thing. You can also get CD vending machines, or machines that vend both.

| Review by Pete (USA) 2010-08-22 Let me start by saying that this machine can be an excellent dough with minimal effort. The downside is this: the blades, knees and mix the dough fits so loosely that the metal that connects them with the tree begins to wane. ** This leads to metal shavings left in the dough .** I know I'm not the only person... | Review by M. Welker (USA) 2010-08-30 I received this breadmaker as a gift about 1 1 / 2 years. At first I loved, although I had problems with wheat bread right out of it. After some months, and trying a ton of recipes, I realized that the cycle of wheat did not work - the bread is always rose too high and collapsed. I had hoped to use the timer to have hot bread waiting... Read more Sunbeam 5891 2-Pound reviews | ||

| Review by Richard Anderson (Shelburne, VT USA) 2010-08-26 I tried a bread machine a few years ago with disappointing results. But reading reviews of this unit, I decided to try again. It 'great! But I found the recipe to use half bread works better than the two pounds of bread. Sometimes two pounds bread will rise to the top of the unit, and then decreases. But the home-br...
